Every book reviewed here is one I’ve read myself. I have a lifelong fascination with science fiction and it’s my first choice for something to curl up with, either in printed form or on my Kindle. Some of them have not been published and have been sent to read and review.

Most of them have been bought in bookshops and charity shops or borrowed from libraries and, very occasionally friends. I personally prefer books to e-readers, but that’s a personal choice. The cost of printing onto paper is exorbitant and I don’t blame companies for putting stories on e-readers
